Darb Umrah is in development. This is what the first release is designed to include, and the limits that come with it.

The whole Umrah journey

  • Preparation, miqat and entering ihram
  • Entering the mosque
  • Tawaf, with a counter for its seven circuits
  • The prayers after Tawaf, and Zamzam
  • Sa’i: seven one-way legs between Safa and Marwah
  • Shaving or trimming, and finishing
Counters sit inside the journey; a standalone Tawaf counter stays available. You confirm every step.

Guidance and audio

  • Choose Hanafi, Maliki, Shafi‘i or Hanbali guidance
  • Attributed alternatives where practice differs
  • Duas in Arabic with English meaning and transliteration
  • Audio to download for use offline
Planned. Nothing is published until a qualified reviewer approves it, and audio needs licensed recordings.

Trip organisation

  • Flights, hotels, pickups and key contacts in one place
  • Taxi and shuttle details saved for quick reference
  • Day-by-day itinerary and packing checklist (premium)
  • Reusable plans for future journeys (premium)
No bookings are made in the app at launch.

Getting around

  • Walking and driving navigation inside the phone app (planned)
  • Route planning on the web
  • Open a saved place in Apple Maps or Google Maps
Navigation needs internet. Offline navigation is not a launch feature.

Madinah

  • A separate visit, never a step of Umrah
  • The Prophet’s Mosque, Rawdah preparation, Quba, Uhud and Al-Baqi
  • Planned visits with times, meeting points and reminders you choose
Rawdah permits come from official services; the app never guarantees an appointment.

Groups and privacy

  • Free groups with optional activity boards
  • Paid trip pass: live group map, meeting points, check-ins
  • Location shared only with people you name, for a limited time
No location history is kept. Organising or paying for a group never gives access to anyone’s location.

Daily prayers

  • Prayer times for Makkah, Madinah and Jeddah
  • Your choice of Asr setting
  • Optional reminders at the start of each prayer you pick
Free core. The app shows start times only, never iqamah times.

Practical AI (premium)

  • Draft itineraries, packing lists and messages for you to review
  • 20 successful actions each month
  • Accepted plans become part of your trip and stay readable
AI never answers religious questions, and children cannot send it requests.
