Who we are
The app is provided by Darb Labs ("we", "us"). The registered company details will be published here before the app is open to people outside the private pilot.
You accept these terms when you join the pilot. Our privacy notice explains how we handle your information.
The private pilot
The app is in a private pilot. It is free, by invitation only, and for adults (18 or over). Features may change, pause or end, and we may end the pilot, giving you reasonable notice where we can. Nothing is sold in the app during the pilot.
Guidance, not religious rulings
The app helps you plan and keep track. It does not give religious rulings or decide whether your worship is valid. Counters, stages and reminders are aids: you remain responsible for your own worship. Guidance marked as a test fixture is not reviewed religious content. For religious questions, ask a qualified scholar.
Prayer times
Prayer times are calculated from the settings you choose and checked against official calendars where the app says so. Always follow the times announced at the mosque where you pray.
Groups and location sharing
If you join or run a group, use it respectfully and only for the trip. Share your location only with people you trust, and only while it is useful. Do not use the app to follow, pressure or harm anyone. We may remove someone from a group, or suspend an account, that misuses it, and tell them why unless the law or safety prevents it.
Your account
Keep access to your email secure and do not share sign-in codes. You can delete your account at any time from Settings → Account & privacy; you then have 14 days to change your mind before it is erased.
Using the app fairly
Do not break the law with the app, try to get into other people's accounts or data, get around its security or limits, or overload or attack it.
Our responsibility to you
We work to keep the app available, accurate and secure, but during the pilot we cannot promise it will always be available or free of errors, or that your phone's copy of your progress can be recovered if you lose the phone and did not keep progress in your account. We are not responsible for losses that were not foreseeable, or for business losses. Nothing in these terms limits our responsibility where that would be unlawful, including for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud, and nothing affects your legal rights as a consumer.
Changes
If we change these terms in a way that affects you, we will tell you in the app first. The version and date at the top show the current terms.
Law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you live elsewhere in the UK, you may also bring proceedings in your local courts.
